This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you visit gigwand.com, submit a request through our website, or otherwise interact with our recruitment services.

It is provided in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Croatian law.

We process the following categories of personal data:

• Information you give us when submitting a recruitment request or contacting us: name, company, professional email, phone number, role requirements, brief, timeline and budget.
• Candidate information shared with us by professionals applying for roles: CV/portfolio, professional experience, location, rates and contact details.
• Technical and usage data collected automatically: IP address, country (derived from IP), browser and device information, language, timezone, pages visited, referring URL, anonymous visitor and session identifiers.

We use personal data to:

• respond to enquiries and deliver our recruitment services;
• match clients with suitable professionals;
• operate, secure and improve our website;
• measure traffic and understand how visitors use the site;
• comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We rely on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to provide recruitment services you request.

• Candidate profiles: up to 24 months, renewable with consent.
• Website analytics: aggregated indefinitely; raw event data up to 24 months.
• Accounting records: as required by Croatian law (typically 11 years).

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local storage entries to operate the site, plus first-party analytics to understand traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

• request correction of inaccurate data;
